Surface Remote
AMFR is a three frequency (Ku-, Ka- and W-band) atmospheric radar with matched beams (0.7 deg), good sensitivity (~-35 dBZ @ 1km, 30m range resolution) and fully polarimetric at Ku- and Ka-band and dual-pol at W-band. Seeing range is approximately 1km - 20km, yet near range may be reduced to ~300m.
