NOAA-EPA Brewer Spectrophotometer UV and Ozone Network
STATUS
Operational
AVAILABILITY
All data, raw and processed, are readily available through the NEUBrew website. The website also contains graphical plotting tools, instrument diagnostic tools, and an extensive archive of relevant publications.
REQUEST PROCEDURE
There is no request procedure for standard network data. It is freely available through the website. Any additional information not found on the website can be requested from: Patrick Disterhoft at email address: patrick.disterhoft@noaa.gov
Surface In-Situ Networks
The NOAA-EPA Brewer UV-ozone monitoring network was established to measure solar UV radiation along with trace gases and aerosols that affect its atmospheric transmittance. NEUBrew measures spectral UV irradiance, total column ozone, and ozone profile and provides these as products through our website.

Temporal ResolutionTemporal resolution vary as a function of the measurement, the time of day and day-of-year. Typically, there are 20-22 direct-sun ozone measurements, 38-40 extended spectral UV irradiance scans, and 100-122 Umkehr measurements for vertical ozone profi
Data Seasonollection of data commences at -94 and ends at +94 degrees solar-zenith-angle each day.

REMARKS
he NEUBrew network currently provides UV spectral irradiance measured from 286.5-363 nanometers along with some derivative products. Additional products include total column ozone and vertical ozone profile. We anticipate that future products will include aerosol optical depths for the ozone and NO2 wavelengths and total column ozone measurements.
