ALVICE is a new mobile Raman lidar facility that is under development at NASA/GSFC. Upon completion it will offer mobile measurement capability for water vapor mixing ratio, aerosol backscatter/extinction/depolarization, aerosol physical properties (size distribution, number density, etc), cloud liquid and ice water properties.
