Surface In-Situ Networks
NCEP Stage II analysis is the multi-sensor precipitation analysis generated from the hourly radar Digital Precipitation Arrays and hourly rain gauge reports received at NCEP. NCEP Stage IV analysis is the ConUS precipitation analysis mosaicked from the regional multi-sensor analyses generated by the 12 ConUS River Forecast Centers (RFCs).
